  • A bet on Pinnacle

I just came across this bet on Pinnacle that I think is amazing:

In the two conference finals series in the NBA you can bet that no team will sweep at a price of (-390)

Obviously thats high juice but i think its well worth it for a bet that is a sure fire winner. I bet $780 to win $200, which is a very, very large bet for my account. I just see it as an investment that will net me a free 200 bones and I wanted to bring it to the attention of anyone else using Pinnacle.

    GL guys.

One would think no one would sweep, but who thought the Red sox would sweep St. Louis last year in the WS?

It is high juice, but I give it a 90-95% chance of winning. I think both series will go at least 6 games. Good Luck on the play!

        YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!

Obviously it was not as easy as I had envisioned, but a win is a win.

        What a relief!

At Pinny I played the Spurs to win the series in 5 games @ +460. I needed Suns to win this game. In game 5 I'll hedge by playing the Suns on the ML.

                Good luck, Frank.
I bet the Spurs to take it all(the Championship) at 4-1 a while back.

                  Yeah absolutely.

Sometimes I forget that if it looks too good to be true, it probably is. I'm just really relieved that the Suns stole Game 4 and the whole ordeal is over with.

Plus I have an extra $200

Congrats. but as I said earlier, in my many years of watching sports (going back to the fifties), I have seen countless sweeps in both 3 or 4 game series in baseball in regular season and in the NBA, baseball and hockey(look it up in the dictionary if you don't recognize the term) during the playoffs where no one expected it.

Thanks. I just remember thinking wow both these series are gonna be so awesome, like 6 or 7 games each easy. And I get overzealous and made a stupid bet. Luckily, I live to fight another day.

I wouldn't call it a really stupid bet;it was you perception of what would happen and a matter of value.
There are people who lay 3-1 or even higher in a baseball game figuring a game is a lock, and sometimes they win;again it is the risk/reward perception that counts;everyone views it differently.

Nice Call- Yes scary- but a nice win. These exotic plays are never boring.

Maybe stupid is not the right word. The way I approached it was stupid though. I saw that bet as absolute lock, a no doubt about it bet, and you just cannot take that approach in gambling.
