    MLB: Boston -1.5 (+117) [Wakefield/Davies] *DOUBLE* PINNACLE
-Davies first time in mlb is facing one of the good offensive
teams...he wasnt so good in the minors, had era of greater than 4 and
whip greater than 1.4 in richmond aa.

    MLB: Baltimore -1.5 (+122) [Bedard/Padilla] *DOUBLE* PINNACLE
-Bedard pitching like a veteran, expect baltimore to take revenge
today. Padilla is hittable, he has been horrible after his comeback
    from injury.

    MLB: Texas -1.5 (-105) [Astacio/Young] *DOUBLE* PINNACLE
-Young is solid and home and texas offense should be able to spank
Astacio, another fairly new pitcher to mlb. Houston cant score runs,
especially away...texas wins this in a a blow out.

MLB: Parlay: Above 3 games: +764 *DOUBLE*
    -Best parlay ever!

                          NASCAR:

Nextel All Star Challenge at Lowes Motor Speedway in Charlotte

Tough race to handicap, of course, due to the format which includes a
driver voted in by the fans, field inversions and other bells and
whistles. The drivers tend to take this race seriously, however, due
to the prestige of winning and the purse (over a million bucks to the
winner). Literally a race that anyone can win, so what I've usually
done is to try and find a good driver at a decent price and take a
shot on him. I'll update later on Saturday (when more books post
their lines on this race) but looking at the numbers from 5 Dimes a
few good value drivers appear to be:

                          Dale Earnhardt Jr. @ 18/1
                          Tony Stewart @17/1
                          Matt Kenseth @ 22/1
                          Bobby Labonte @ 40/1

We'll make an official call later on Saturday, but as of now I'm
leaning toward Tony Stewart or last year's All Star Challenge winner,
Matt Kenseth. They appear to be the best drivers available at the
                          best price.,

                            Matt Rivers

For Saturday's complimentary play, take the White Sox in Wrigley.
Why not take the Sox plus money? I still do not think they are as good as they are playing, and Jose Contreras is not as good as Carlos Zambrano, but for God sakes, for the Cubs to be the chalk over a Sox team that never loses is enough fuel for me.

Zambrano is a horse no doubt and can definitely shut down the rival Sox today, but all the South Siders seem to do is win and all the Cubs seem to do is lose.

Ozzie Guillen's team has been playing great great ball. They win almost every single one-run game and this affair should certainly be a low-scoring tight game as both teams have tough pitchers and are not exactly offensive juggernauts.

Also the Cubs' bullpen is awful and really does not have a true closer as right now Ryan Dempster is the man for the job.

Just nothing to lose. We are getting the better team with a competent pitcher and the much better pen. I'll take some money back for sure with this.
