Cubs +101 over Pittsburgh--after lasts dramatic win, the cubs should
win this one and keep the mo going into the windy city series in
Wrigley this weekend. Derrick Lee is just a stud.

White Sox -156 over Texas--Makes me ill to pick them, but the numbers
don't lie. They'll win the rubber game to take the series.

*Boston -155 over OAKLAND (3:35 EST)

Rubber match here and the Sox are leaving little up to chance, starting David Wells. Since 1997, Wells is 41-9 vs. poor power teams averaging 0.9 or less HR's/game. Even if Wells doesn't go and Jeremi Gonzalez starts, I still like Boston here. Oakland snuck one in in game one but that was only their second win in 14 games. Last night things looked grim for Boston but they got a hold of Oakland's weak bullpen for four runs in the eigth. This remains a big mismatch as Boston owns big offensive advantage (.275 vs. .238 and 5.6 runs vs. 3.7). Home underdogs with an on-base percentage less than .320 are 24-81 in the first half of the season. One star on Boston.
