  • Just a thought...........

I'm too lazy to look up the real facts and hard numbers here, but I was thinking.............

Instead of taking the Yankees, always take the Yankees RL. A lot of the time it is a + something, and sometimes it is a -, but a - small number. Out of the Yankees 18 wins so far this year, they have only won 4 games by 1 run. So, if they lose, then you're better off because you're paying WAY less juice, but 14 out of 18 times they've won by at LEAST 2 runs.

So, I'm wondering would it be smart so far this year if you took the Yankees RL everytime they play????? Like tonight for instance, the Yanks were a pick, but the RL was a nice + number.

Anyone feel like figuring it out??????????

    Good

    THOUGHT "Long John"!!

Maybe even the -1 buy down would be close to even money like Chuck does.

I TOOK THE OVER HUGE tonight along with the Yeekees and the REDS OVER as it seem the Yuchees when winning win BIG. THE OVER IS also another money maker avenue to check out with them. Especially with their crap pitching which forces them to outscore many teams this year to garner wins.! The Reds are also the other over machine this year in choice spots.

    GOOD THOUGHT! Gv

RJ... Bad luck is loving you right now!

For the month of April...run line bets would have been 7-17, a losing proposition no matter what the odds...which means i'm too lazy to look it up too!

For May.... I found these RL odds for the Yanks wins...

      May 2 vs TB -105
      May 7 vs Oak +120
      May 8 vs Oak +150
      May 10 vs. Sea +115
      May 11 vs. Sea +110
      May 13 vs. Oak +130
      May 14 vs. Oak +130

      and for the losses...
      May 1 vs. Tor +105
      May 3 vs. TB -125
      May 4 vs. TB -105
      May 5 vs. TB -115
      May 6 vs. Oak +120
      May 9 vs. Sea -135

So.. a $100 bettor on the 7 wins would be +$855, and on the 6 losses -$680, for a net priofit of a whopping $175.....
Might be a great idea to ride it during a hot streak

I'm waiting for one of these guys that has all the stats to see what you would be up this year taking them like that.

Good point though on taking the -1 line.

          Gary,

Is that 100% right. If you took the Yanks EVERY game at the RL??? if so, thank you. Still would be profitable though

RJ- that's what I found on Vegasinsider.com they have an odds archive link, so that's according to their odds.....
And that profit's just for May... for April, in the 7 wins the profit would be $775, and for the 17 losses the loss would be at least $1700..... as long as they stay hot, might be a profitable idea.....
I don't know if it means anything but not only don't they win by 1 run but of their 19 losses, exactly 1 is by 1 run.... maybe if they're ever dogs it doesn't pay to take them at plus the 1&1/2....... wonder if there is a site to get archived -1 lines..
Also... Congrats on the great night!!!
