This question requires only a simple yes or no answer, but you can expand your opinion if you like.
We just saw a $100000 fine levied against Van Gundy because the David Stern didn't like the implication that referees were being told to favor certain players.
My question is do you think in the NBA and especially in the playoffs David Stern has directly or indirectly given instructions to officials to officiate games in such a way as to try to keep them close or for that matter ensure that certain teams win for tv ratings, revenues, etc.
I vote a resounding YES;I don't care how Stern comes across on tv;there is something about him which makes me very suspicious.
I would even go so far as to say that on some occasions, games are called a certain way for gambling interests!
