Beers are half price tonight. And if I was a service, so would my plays.... NOT, they'd cost ya the same. Business is business right. On to my card:
Dodgers/Cards < 9 Lowe vs. Carpenter 1:10
Day game after a night game w/ two solid pitchers. Yeah, the Cards put up some runs last night, but they have a few key bats out of the lineup and bunch of their runs last night were the result of some chink hits. Both catchers may have the day off today as well as some other regulars. Dodgers lineup not exactly on fire. I see this game as a 5-1 or 5-2 Cards win.
Therefore, I am also parlaying the Cards -140 w/ the under. I put it in this AM and see the line has moved in some places to 8.5. I still like it.
D'Rays -120 Kazmir vs. Lima 8:05 Lima Time
KC didn't show that new spark from a managerial change last night. No surprise there, they simply suck. Going against a tough lefty tonight. If Kazmir has his control tonight this will be easy. Lima is a spot pitcher. By that I mean, if he's hittin' spots w/ precise location, he can be nasty. When he's not, he gets rocked. Judgeing by his 6.63 ERA, he isn't on his game that often. Looks like a good price on the superior SP and the better offensive team all be it by not much. Give a slight edge to Tampas pen as well.
But then again, what the hell do I know? GL to all tonight!
