I have not been playing these playoff games any special way. I'm basically looking at the season series matchups and looking at the lines all day. I said yesterday i didn't like to post these too early because to be honest, i try to get the best feel for the game by thinking all the scenario's through. I really don't believe it has anything to do with numbers at this point in the season. You need to think through each side and figure out which team is mentally prepared to play that game. The playoffs have been filled with blowouts and it's because one team is ready and one isn't, Plain and simple. Every player has bumps and bruises right now but the BIGGEST key by far is getting a feeling for which team will be mentally ready to play. Physical talent will be there for everyone but the mentally tough get to move on.
You learn alot about the teams by watching body language. Anyone notice or remember how Seattle looked in game 1 against the Spurs? They looked liked they lost game 7 and the announcers pointed that out. It wasn't even halftime yet!
Indiana came out flat, tired, and mentally exhausted against the Pistons in game 1. After game 1 the interviews were all positive and you just got that feeling they would show up in game 2. The Same thing happened with Dallas last night, not ready for game 1 and showed their toughness and talent in game 2.
Tonight i think a banged up shaq and the Wizards home crowd (which was great in the Bulls series) gives Washington a real good shot at getting a Win. Arenas has had 2 average games and i expect that to change tonight at home too!
Seattle, as stated above, looks like they have given up already! S.A. seems to be getting really healthy at the right time and you could probably say the opposite of Seattle.
I guess that's my write-up! :DLast edited by wayne1218; 05-12-2005, 06:14 PM.
