    Illinois-Chicago at Western Michigan

Illinois-Chicago, 10-6 both SU and ATS on the road, had a six-game winning streak snapped by its two-point loss to eventual champion Wisconsin-Milwaukee in the semifinals of the Horizon League Tournament. The Flames are 12-0 ATS in tournament play the past three seasons, and 8-0 in March outings in that stretch. They're also 4-0 ATS as a road dog of 3 1/6 to six points this season.

    Providence at Richmond

The Spiders, 10-4 SU and 5-7 ATS at home this year, were knocked out of the Atlantic-10 quarterfinals by Temple, extending a slide that saw them lose seven of their final 10 games straight-up, and nine of 10 versus the oddsmakers. Richmond is 4-8 ATS versus teams with winning records.

In terms of the total, the Jackets have played under in six of their last seven outings, while the Buckeyes are 12-3 under on the season.

FYI: Ohio State forward Zach Williams, who started 22 of 31 games this year and averaged 9.3 points and 5.2 rebounds, has been suspended for the rest of the season.

Rhode Island, 11-4 SU and 5-8 ATS at home, is 0-4 ATS in tournament play the past three years, including 0-3 in first-round play. Among the losers was last week's 17-point loss in the Atlantic-10 Quarterfinals against Dayton. The Rams are 0-2 ATS as a home dog of three points or less this season.

    Boston at St. John's

St. John's had won and covered four in a row before losing in overtime, 82-75, against Boston College in the Big East Tournament quarterfinals. The Red Storm is 8-6 SU and 5-7 ATS at home this year. It's 2-9 ATS since 1997 as a home favorite of 9 1/2 to 12 points.

Boston is 3-0 ATS as a dog this year.

The Ragin' Cajuns were 10-8 SU and 10-6 ATS on the road this year, including wins and ##### at Conference USA members N.C. Charlotte by 21 points, and Houston by 16.

UAB's remarkable run through the Conference USA Tournament, which featured upsets of N.C. Charlotte, Marquette, and St. Louis, concluded with a five-point loss to host Louisville to cap a four games in four days' run on Sunday. The Blazers return home where they're 11-4 SU on the season. They're also 11-2 ATS in tournament action the past three years, including a perfect 7-0 this season.

    Minnesota at St. Louis

The Golden Gophers, 2-9 SU and 3-7 ATS on the road, carry a five-game losing streak into the contest after getting upset by Northwestern in the Big 10 Tournament. Minnesota is 3-6 ATS as a dog this season.

St. Louis had its eight-game winning streak snapped with its semifinal loss to UAB in the Conference USA Tournament. The Bilikins have coverd 10 of their last 13 outings, and they're 11-5 SU at home this year.

    Nevada at Texas Tech

Nevada, off a loss to host Tulsa in the WAC Semifinals on Saturday, is 15-3 ATS off a conference loss over the past three seasons, including 7-1 this year. The Wolpack is 27-15 ATS as a dog the past three years, including 7-4 this season. And, it's 11-6 ATS on the road to date.

FYI: Yesterday I detailed for you Texas Southern's tenuous road journey to reach Dayton for last night's play-in game against N.C. Ashville. Tonight, Hawaii carries similar road woes into Las Vegas.

The Rainbows, who lost to host Tulsa in the WAC semifinals on Saturday night, were landing in Honolulu on Sunday night when they learned of their NIT bit. After debating whether to accept the invite, Hawaii had to fly back to the mainland on Monday, less that 24 hours after returning from Tulsa.

Hawaii originally thought it would be hosting a first-round game against Eastern Washington, but the Eagles were sent packing to Wyoming instead. Because of the extensive travelling, the Rainbows will have just one practice for tonight's contest.
