  • MLB Two for Tuesday

Orioles -140 Bedard vs. Radke 7:05
If ya haven't seen Bedard pitch this year, check him out. 94mph runnin' fastball, nice straight change w/ the same arm motion and a nasty hook. Throws all three for stikes w/ good command and works hitters over. Next to Johan, probably the top lefty starter in the AL right now. If ya don't own him in your fantasy league, target him for a trade before ya have to cut your arm off to get him. With the Orioles run support and their pen, I'll lay the 140 w/ or w/out Sosa.

Arizona -135 Estes vs. Armas 9:40
We've gotta a crafty lefty in Estes who has pitched fairly well this year. On the other hand, Armas has been riddled w/ arm injuries the last two years and makes his return to an MLB mound tonight. He will probably be on a pitch count and I look for him to get knocked around as well. There's a 10-20 wind blowing in from RF which is more good news for the left hander Estes. I look for Armas to get knocked out early and Estes to pitch a good game vs. a marginal Nat's lineup. I like the price.

Then again, what the hell do I know? GL to all tonight.

                  Adding

Reds +105 Lawrence vs. Claussen 7:10
Neither pitcher has pitched that well this year w/ both having ERA's over 5. But Lawrence is absolutely brutal when starting at the Reds new park w/ an ERA of 10.61. Lawrence prefers a mound to be as high as legally possible as would most pitchers. Many pitchers including Lawrence, have publicly complained that the Reds mound is too low. Giving his history their and a built in mental block, I'll take the Reds here and hope the Reds pen doesn't implode again. Great angle to play the Reds but their pen could negate all that in one inning so don't pound it. Also, over 10.5 is enticing for the above reasons. GL to all tonight!
