3 Wise Men MLB Tuesday 5/10/05

High line plays are proving again ( they did last year too ) to be no bargain ... You want to hit 67% of your games to break even ? We sure don't.

Wishy Washy last 3 days … mostly sister kissing ….. gimme your feedback on Atlanta . I didn’t see them at –140 ( it was starting close in on -140 for a while … I never pulled the trigger on them ) but if unfortunately you guys lost with them I’ll count it . The truth is who gives a damn if its counted or not ? … if money was lost we all suffer.

The Plays for Tuesday: Intead of a composite of lines taken from Don Best we are now using Pinnacle … rounded off to the nearest .05

    1* San Diego -120

    1* Milwaukee -110

    1* NY Mets +110

    2* Atlanta -125

    1* Atlanta RL ( -1 ½ +120 )

    1* Seattle Run Line ( +1 ½ -130 )

    1* White Sox -135

Consider playing the LA Angels or passing the game altogether. Kmann likes The Angels but they do not quite fit in with all our criteria for a play.

The Pittsburgh / SF line has not been posted … will notify you if there is a play on this game

    ***************************************

    Monday Result :

    ½* San Diego -140 Won

    ½ Milwaukee -120 Loss

    1* Atlanta Run Line ( -1 ½ -120 ) Loss

    1* NY Mets -120 ( Add on Play #1 ) Won

2* Atlanta -140 or less ( Add on play #2 ) If you lost with Atlanta at –140 or less let me know and I’ll count it.

The following would have been plays but lines were too high … they looked JUICY but 3 Wise Men let these pass by. Good thing we did.

    2* Atlanta -165 L

    1 ½* Washington RL ( +1 ½ -170 ) W

    1 ½* Pittsburgh RL ( +1 ½ -170 ) W

    1 ½* Minnesota RL ( + 1 ½ -170 ) L

    1 ½ Boston ML -160 W

    1 ½* White Sox ML -165 L

The Record: Moneys are listed first on a flat 100 per game, then on a 100/ Star basis.

    High Line Parlays 2-5 -85

    4*

    3 ½*

    3* ….. 3-0 ….. +300 ….. +900

    2 ½* ….. 1-0 ….. +100 ….. +250

    2* ….. 3-5 ….. -385 ….. -770

    1 ½* ….. 7-5 ….. +130 ….. +195

    1* ….. 18-19 ….. -295 ….. -295

    ½* ….. 16-6 ….. +1105 ….. +500

    Summary of all plays:

    48-35

    Flat 100 / game : +955

    100 / Star : +780

    Parlays -85

Run Line Plays: 14-9 (already factored in with the above rundown )

    Good Luck as always,

Didn't see Atl get any lower than -143 at Pinny. I laid off the ML and played the adjusted RL (-1) at -121 though.

IMO I don't think you should count it as a loss. You were very clear about playing at either -140 or less.

                      i had atlanta @ -146 and lost
but only made it a 1* since it was borderline and we already had 1* on the RL
