3 Wise Men MLB Saturday 5/07/05
***** We were 6-15 on April 28th and now we've moved to 35-25
***** We are 20-4 this week not countimg the 2 parlays which we split.
***** Our 2 top plays won again … and at 1 point last night they were winning by a combined score of 21 –1 … Don’t want to tell you what their record is for fear of a jinx …. But it’s scary I’ll tell you that much.
***** Run Line Plays continue to cash … 13-5 so far this season. They started out last season by going 18-3 . Our daily top plays each day have done even better.
The Plays for Saturday: To my recollection this is our most action filled card in 2 years… so please read most carefully.
½ * Washington +135 as a Value Play
2* Washington Run Line (+1 ½ -160 ) Note The Hi Line … will explain possibilities below.
2* LA Dodgers –130
1* LA Dodgers Run Line ( -1 ½ +115 )
1* Atlanta -130
1* Oakland Run Line ( +1 ½ -135 )
2* White Sox -130
½* White Sox Run Line ( -1 ½ +110 )
1* Boston -140 a barely minimal 1* -140 makes me uncomfortable in this spot because the line looks suspicious to me. Kmann ( make no mistake we love each other dearly ) will tear me a new one but I’d lean to ½* here.
½ * Cleveland +130 as a value play
1* Cleveland Run Line ( +1 ½ -160 ) High Line
½* Trap the Minnesota / Tampa Bay Game ( Middle it ) by laying – 110 with Minnesota on the Money Line AND also playing Tampa Bay on the Run Line at ( + 1 ½ -155 ) Kmann leans toward Minnesota ML and I like Tampa Bay RL as a solid play. There’s some vig involved but there’s an opportunity here to nail this game both sides. Hopefully we can make our books bend over on this one.
½ * Parlay If you’re not comfy laying ( +1 ½ –160 ) with Washington And Cleveland on the RL then Hook them up together. They are both solid plays individually but lines are too high. Both Run Line plays individually are solid with Washington being the stronger of the 2.
Opinion Only Play … and its not a true 3 Wise Men Play … The Yanks are again a False Favorite … just consider a light light play on Oakland Straight Up taking +150.
