        MLS for today..

MLS plays so far are 1-2 (+0.00).

2* Dallas (+280) over Kansas City 8:00EST FoxSportsSW
I look for Dallas to bounce back after last week's 2-0 loss to LA, their first of the season. Kansas City was solid in the backline last week against DC but had hardly an offensive oppurtunity the entire game in a nationally televised sleeper. Eddie Johnson, Ruiz, and Ronnie O'Brien should be able to find their way on the board at least once this evening and Dallas's backline should be able to withstand KC's weak offense especially if 41-year old stagnant Preki makes his return to the Wizards midfield and keeps himself planted at the halfline the entire game waiting for a free kick. These are great odds to be getting on a top-tier team playing in front of a crowd that should be about half of the 20,000 that Dallas saw at the Home Depot Center last week.

        2* San Jose/New York Over 2.75 (-111) 4:00 EST ESPN2
San Jose so far this year have given up 11 goals and scored 11 goals in 5 games to average a total score of almost 4.5 goals per game. And while NYNJ were a bit anemic offensively the first few weeks, they found their rhythm last week at Colorado as Guevara had a hat trick in a 3-1 Metros win. The Quakes and league-leading goalscorer Brian Ching should be able to exploit a young New York backline that goes 18,23,23,24, with inexperienced 24 year old Zach Wells making his 5th ever start at keeper in MLS. These two teams had games of 4-4 and 5-5 in a couple of their meetings the past two years and while I don't expect 8 or 10 goals to be scored, I would expect close to 4 or 5 goals in this one.

1* New England (-108) over Chicago
1* DC United (+112) over Columbus
1* CD Chivas draw (+205) Salt Lake

not sure, Amsterdam.. I played it at 1.73 at my book last night around 1AM EST..

Ugh on the Man U Parlay. They draw at home 1-1 on a pk after outshooting WBA 27-2.. oh well, 2-2 on the day in EPL.. I'll probably have a play on the Arsenal game tomorrow..
