JARROD WASHBURN (L) vs. RYAN FRANKLIN (R)(Listed) Washburn has a tendency to struggle coming back off starts where he threw 7+ IP. These are the games he tends to give up more long balls and also tends not to throw as many innings in these games. We last went against him 2 starts ago at home and he did get roughed up giving up 5 runs and 1 HR to Cleveland but the Angels came back late to win that game. We had him in is last start in Yankee Stadium as he threw very well but find this as another good spot to go against him as he runs into Franklin in Seattle who is also throwing very well. I am 5-0 going on or agaisnt Anaheim in their last two series and I like the Mariners who are home for 3 games before heading east to see Boston and the Yankees. Mariners will play with a bit more urgency here and get the homestand off to a good start. Play On Seattle -105 to win 1 Unit

KENNY ROGERS (L) vs. RICH HARDEN (R)(Listed) When it comes to hitting for average these two teams are pretty even but their is no comparison with the power numbers. Texas checks in with 33 HR's, 81 EB hits and 227 hits on the year. Oakland has just 16 HR's 50 EB hits and 197 hits. The Texas bullpen in poor but Oakland pen has been taxed the last two days as well vs. Seattle. Here is a situational trend I like. Play Against - Home teams (OAKLAND) - with a team on base percentage .320 or worse on the season (AL), in the first half of the season. (91-39 over the last 5 seasons.) (70%, +43.2 units.) Harden will have to be his best for Oakland to win and Texas has the bats to do some damage against him. Getting Rodgers at a decent price and this is a mismatch at the plate.
