This is my kind of play. I just love hot teams as big dogs. The lines never catch up to streaking teams and baseball is a game of streaks. Even bad teams get hot and Arizona is still suffering from last year's reputation. D-Backs have won six in a row and tonite's starter, Webb, is 3-0 with a 2.63 ERA. San Diego's Peavy has been brilliant with a 1.30 ERA but the Padres are a miserable 9-13 and are overvalued here.

Back to a well I drank from many times last year. Randy Johnson is ludicrously overvalued. The Yankees are 9-13-----HELLO!---and Johnson has a so-so 4.19 ERA. Halladay's numbers are competitive with a 4.25 ERA and he's 3-1. Just because the Yankees are supposed to be invincible doesn't mean they are invincible.
