Dunkel Index is MLB power ratings

        Washington* (Day) 11.75 (1 1/2) Philadelphia (Lidle) 10.20
        Total Runs: 8 1/2

Washington with Day pitches has a power rating index of 11.75. With Lidle pitching Phillies index is 10.20. Washington is predicted to win this game by 1 1/2 runs.

Dunkel index predicts 8.5 runs scored in this game.

I hope this answers your question.

Does the larger predicted margin of victory (such as Dodgers by 3 ) show a higher percentage of accuracy than the lower predicted margin of victory? (such as Twins by .5)

If you took Dunkel at face value, at the end of a year you would be 51-55 % accurate...Dunkel at face value is not a money maker, Dunkel at face value on Dogs may bring you a bit more...It's how does Dunkel ratings relate to the present lines, is what is important....The 3 wise men use a "K" factor to determine that...stay on top of the 3 wise men plays and you'll do all right...the Kapt
