This season the Nets got off to a horrendous start. A large part due to injuries. Since Jan 17 the Nets are 30-16 SU and ATS. During the same period the Heat are 31-12 SU and 24-16 ATS. The Nets were crushed all three meeting this season. In their Mar 12 matchup the Nets were playing off a road win in Philly the night before. In their March 12 game in Miami the Nets were off a OT victory in New Orleans.

Consider a small play on the Nets SU +400. I played a 1/4 unit on Nets ML. Since 1999 the #1 seed in round #1 game #1 are 7-5 SU and a lousy 3-9 ATS. If the Nets are going to steal a game this is the game.

Not the best day 1-2. An abysmal 4th qtr shooting display, missing 17 straight doomed the Spurs. However, if they didn't shoot as poorly as they did the game probably would have gone OVER.
