Houston (Clemens) -105 over St. Louis (Mulder) Houston/St. Louis UNDER 8 =120
Cards starting to come around somewhat after a slow start, but we're going against them here. Pretty simple premise really--we're getting Roger Clemens and has 0.43 ERA for a great price. Clemens has been hurt in the early going by shoddy run support--and its hard to get much worse than losing two straight 1-0 games. Cards hitting .239 overall and .228 at home.
Cincinnati (ACTION)+190 over Florida (Willis)
Dontrelle Willis has looked excellent early on, but we're going to take the big price against him here. Every year there are certain teams that do well (or poorly) in specific situations and Cincinnati has yet to lose against lefthanded pitching. The Reds are a perfect 5-0 opposing a southpaw, hitting .317 and averaging 6 runs per game. At a price of nearly 2 to 1 we'll look for their strong performance against lefties to continue.

ADDING NIGHTTIME ACTION:
LA Dodgers (Perez) -135 over Colorado (Chacon)
Odalis Perez has been great in the early going, and the Dodgers are off to their best start in 50 years. They're not going to play .800 baseball all year, but they're the play today against a hapless Colorado team (5-11 YTD) who has struggled against LHP this season (1-5 YTD).
Chicago WS (Contreas) -113 over Kansas City (Greinke)
Hard to argue with anything that the White Sox have done this year--they're 13-4 overall/7-2 on the road. Meanwhile, Kansas City has been sad no matter how you cut it. They're 5-12 overall, 2-7 at home and are hitting .220 at home. One team has lost 9 of 11, the other has won 9 of 11. Guess which one we're taking at the near pick'em price.

Los Angeles PK over Chicago
NASCAR:
NASCAR's added a spring race at Phoenix, starting at 7:30 Eastern. While this is prime time on the East Coast for television it makes it a little trickier for the teams involved as they go from day to night and significantly cooler temps.
