[QUOTE=CoverBoy]Thanks All - Again, Great to see the new faces in the post.
Our plan as always is to grind it out day by day. It's a long season and we'll all have to exercise patience at times.
Please remember this about us 3 Wise Men .....
WE SOOOOOO WANT OUR FRIENDS TO MAKE MONEY

3W's,
Thanks for all of your hard work and I'm looking forward to a nice long summer of winning bases. One quick question, I've seen that you guys play mostly ML plays with the occasional RL play. Do you play totals at all or see much value in them? Thanks and good luck with LA tonight.

Good to see the wisemen plays back for another year. You all had a fine year last season and I believe strongly you will do even do better this year with last year under your belt. Always checked what you all were on last year. After seeing you all had 678 plays last year got to thinking(not a good thing me thinking) and it appears you averaged about 1.5 stars per game for the year. If your average line was -110(very conservative) a $100 dollar player(I am not wished I was) would have plunked down approx. $112,000 for the season which I think gives you a ROI of about 6% or 6 dollars for every 100 bet. My question is does that seem about right and do you bet the games? If you do what system do you use. Straight betting or the star system. I may just straight bet them to lessen the risk.Just wanted your opinion and do you forsee about the same amount of plays this year.
Thanks and good luck!
Hey - As far as totals go I try to stay away from them . Besides ... Kmann ( 1 of the 3 Wise Men ) has an 11 step program for totals so I leave that department in his capable hands.
In fact I E-mailed Karl today with the hope that he can post totals in a separate thread.
One thing is certain ... there will be lots of action this summer. The fun starts this coming Friday.
Hey Buddy - you're scaring me with your numbers ( I'm sure they are dead on accurate ) Don't get me thinking too much ... lol
Play them all the same at first and hopefully with a bankroll you can always adjust ... probably right after The All Star Break.
Always keep your comfort level in mind ... there is no shame in wagering 20 or 30 per game . You can pick up a few extra bucks and always have a good time. What's most important is that all this should never interfere with the many more important things in your life.
Here's to us - and a profitable and fun filled 2005.

Last season I played the games a flat amount until after the all-star break. This season I'm betting on a unit basis.
