I here ya , I see so many people on here blow their wad on particular games and i just don't get it you know it's nice to hit one but my game is about winning more than i lose plain and simple. Every night i have ever posted i have always loved a couple games more than others but i force myself to use self control and bet every one equal knowing if i go 5-4, 9-6,3-2,10-7,9-8,8-3 or anything that all i have to look at is the bottom line and never have to wake up going 4-2 or 6-3 and losing money:confused: .....i've been there and that hurts bad. Trust me it's nice to love a game and watch it lose knowing it doesn't matter if your other 2 win, it keeps you from chasing and makes you worry about one thing and that is having more wins than losses at the end of the day. That's why i have never posted once on the play of the day thread or even looked at it because i don't believe any one play is better than another that's why there are pointspread's to handicap the talent for you......... It's like the weather they predict a temperature and you know it's going a little over or under, their just banking that you guess the wrong way based on the previous day's weather......That's why your best chance to beat em' is with research because your basically playing one on one with your man if you pick more right than wrong you win and he loses, remember he get's 10% because your in control.....we don't drive with our eyes closed and we shouldn't gamble that way either! Sorry just felt like typing i guess. :D

i hear ya. i try explaining to people that thier really is no such thing as a bad bet b/c odds makers try to make it like flipping a coin as much as possible. Prime example tonight is New Orleans. I bit on a sucker bet...looking at it i felt the line should have been more than 5 and it did strike me as being a bit fishy, but i bit anyway and lost by 1 point. sure, blowouts happen, but who knows all of them. when i used a service last year i would look at games that were blowouts and say "now that should have been the service play"!!! If a service really was any good they would have inside info and they would only give you blowouts. The only service i respect even a little is underdog for football...he only gave out 13 plays last year in the nfl and went 12-1...I think.

Well, i'm in a big hole now and have two days to crawl out. I'll be looking to the board for help! I guess i'll chase but do it by increasing the amount on every game not just on one or two per session.

What a week

funny how some are cleaning up this week while i'm getting buried and I cleaned up last week and was reading about others taking it on the chin.
