Actually Fever Pitch will have to wait until after Sox/Yankee game is decided;I am not missing that unless Yanks get an insurmountable lead.

The most amusing thing about Thursday was in the totals.
A lot of people loved the OVER in the Texas/Toronto game yesterday for pretty obvious reasons.
Wouldn't you know that every other game in the American League went sailing way way over the total, and the Texas/Toronto game ends 2-1;go figure it.

I say Fever Pitch last night. I was bored through most of the movie.

Frank-I haven't seen it but most of the reviews I read were good;Ebert gave it 3 of 4, but to be fair some gave it 1.5 out of 4.
I respect your opinion, but let me ask you this: might your opinion be different if you were a diehard Red Sox fan?
I know I will like it because in a small sense I am like the guy(much older) in the movie in that the Sox have been a very big part of my life since 1952, and I am not ashamed to admit it.
ps I will try to give an objective opinion after I see it.

I'm not a diehard Sox fan. I can appreciate what the Sox have gone through. I went thru similar torture being NY fan and NY Ranger fan. The best part of the movie was the baseball scenes. The rest of the movie was too much of a love story for my taste. IMO it's a chick flick.

I guess we are different, as I like romantic comedies.
