Heat @ 76ers-- Miami has eyes on playoffs, for the 76ers, it is survival mode, as they to get last playoff slot Heat lost last two games and five of last nine, scoring just 76.5 ppg last two games. 11 of last 14 Miami tilts stayed under total. Philly had its four-game win streak ended by Celtics Tuesday. Home side won all three in series this year, with Heat losing first visit here by eight

Elsewhere, Cavaliers won last two games by 17,8 pts, now face dreadful Knick squad (1-10 last eleven tilts) that can see end of tunnel. Home side is 3-0 in this series this year, with Knicks losing first visit here by 25. Three of last four Knick games went over the total.

Dallas won five in row and 13 of last 15 games- they got tough win in Seattle last night. Five of the last seven Mav games stayed under total, as did six of last eight Seattle games. Portland lost 19 of last 23 games, but covered six of last seven games, and last four in a row.

      13) All Vick, all the time. Atlanta has five prime-time games, three home Monday nighters, and its first-ever Thanksgiving Day game. Stay healthy, Michael, or this December, ABC will be the Matt Schaub Network

      12) League honchos must be thrilled over last week's story about Vick being sued for knowingly transmitting an STD, since they seem to be revolving their whole national TV schedule around him. Whoops.

      11) Kurt Warner's Cardinals open at Giants, then host the Rams; since neither Iowa Barnstormers, Northern Iowa or Regis HS were available in Week 3, Arizona plays Seattle, then goes to Mexico for a "home game" against the 49ers in Week 4.

      10) Eli Manning's Giants face Warner in Week 1, then go to Eli's hometown of New Orleans in Week 2, then head out west for a prime-time game with San Diego, the team he refused to play for last year.

      9) Chargers also get a Monday night home game, as Pittsburgh comes calling October 10.

      8) Halloween is three weeks later, and the Steelers will be home against the Ravens for Trick-or-Treat tilt.

      7) Because Week 16 will be played almost entirely on a Saturday, Christmas Eve, Denver and the Giants finish their season with three straight Saturday games.

      6) Both of last year's Super Bowl teams have four prime-time games, with Eagles on MNF three times, New England twice.

      5) The Randy Moss effect: Raiders are on national TV the first two weeks (at Patriots, vs Chiefs) and in last week (vs Giants on New Year's Eve) of season.

      4) College bowl games must be on January 2 this year as NFL's last Sunday is New Year's Day.

      3) Saints-Falcons is most underrated NFL rivalry; the league's first two teams in southeast, they came into the league a year apart, and often travel lot of fans to road games in this series. for first time, this rivalry gets a Monday night game, in Atlanta, of course.

      2) These are the home sites for the Week 15 and 16 prime-time games: one each at Green Bay, Buffalo, and two each at Baltimore and Giants Stadium. Folks who pay $75 for tickets get no consideration here, as those games are on December 18,19,24 and 25. Not exactly shirtsleeve weather in Buffalo or Green Bay.

      1) Nine divisional games in Week 17. Good move.
