At 9:05 pm, our Western Conference Winner is on the Utah Jazz over
San Antonio, as the Jazz fall into a Late Season 29-3 ATS system of
mine that plays against certain unrested road teams off a home win.
Last night, the Spurs defeated Portland 95-89 at the SBC Center, and
now must play their 6th game in 8 nights at the Delta Center in Salt
Lake City. And it's not just the 6th game in 8 nights that is
problematic. Recall that San Antonio played back to back double
overtime games on Saturday and Sunday vs. the Clippers and the
Warriors (the first team in NBA history to play consecutive double OT
games), so Gregg Popovich's crew should be very tired. And, without
Rasho Nesterovic, Tim Duncan, Devin Brown and possibly even Manu
Ginobili (whom Popovich prefers to not play in the 2nd of back to
back games), the Spurs simply don't have the weapons to beat Utah.
Take the Jazz. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. And don't miss my
