It kind of reminds me of early speed in a horse race;more times than not the horses which lead at the outset are usually nowhere to be found as the horses come down the stretch.

I hope Baltimore is not a speed horse and will be just off the lead going into September. I have $200 on them at 35-1 to win the American League. Just need them to be a Wild Card and then I can cover part of the bet. I know their chances are slim, but that's why they are at 35-1. I also have Richie Sexton to win the Home Run race at 25-1.

I have the Anaheim Angels of Los Angeles(man-how stupid does that sound?) at 11-1 to win the WS. I have seen these guys play a number of times on mlb and like the way these guys play together as a unit-good balanced team also.
In addition they have won a WS in the past few years, which is always a plus.
Of course, I will be rooting against them when they play my Sox, but that is the only time(not counting individual bets on or against them of course).
