  • Only My 7th Situation Play Since Last Summer

My past 6 situation plays are 5-1. We have a situatiion tonight with Phoenix playing a red hot Golden State team. Golden State has won 7 in a row, but 5 of those wins were against teams with losing records, including two terrible teams, Portland and Utah. Phoenix lost to Golden State on March 18th by 10 points at Phoenix. Anyone who watched that game saw a flat Phoenix team, playing their first game in 5 days. Golden State did not win that game, Phoenix lost it and the Suns won't be flat tonight. Also, with Phoenix at -6, on the road against a team who has won 7 in a row, the line looks like a trap. My situation play tonight is Phoenix minus 6.

Blackbeard. I never noticed till now. We have 8 birthdays on that day and 10 more the next day. There must have been a lot of cold Januaries. Good luck to you tonight.

You raised a good point. A point IMO that is often misunderstood. Teams without rest vs teams with 1 or 2 days rest. Advantage rested team. The unrested team only cover 48.3%.

However, unrested teams vs teams with 4 days rest. Big advantage unrested team. The unrested team cover_s 54.2% of the situations. As sandman stated the rested team is often flat.

Warriors have also beaten Milw twice. Another lousy team.

Utah, Portland and Milw have a combined 33.8 win record. Pretty horrible. The only thing that troubles me. They did beat Houston and Seattle at home.

This was painful. The Suns are up by 14 in the 3rd quarter and just fell apart. It was painful watching Golden State hit EIGHTEEN three point shots and hitting over 50% of their threes. It was painful having to listen to the Warrior announcers screaming like the Warriors just won the NBA title. They are among the worse 'homers" I have heard. It was painful losing my bet but the most painful thing was knowing some of you lost money on my play. And yes, I'm sorry about this play BUT, given the same situation, I would still say to play Phoneix. At least I had Pittsburg tonight. They are now 6-2 at San Diego the past three years. I will be playing them the next two games. Even a spilt will make money.
