  • Is this a system play for tomorrow or not??? Help needed

RD (bet against after winning 3X's in a row)

    1nd Game - 27-12 = 69.2%
    2rd Game - 6-5 = 86.8%
    3th Game 2-3 = 92.1%
    4th Game - 3-0 = 100%

This is part of the progressive system that we were kicking around before the start of the season last week. Well, long story short. The CIN REDS fall into this category tomorrow playing the HOU ASTROS/Clemmons. Is Houston the play for tomorrow under this system? Thanks in advance.

I don't know why you would want to bet against any team that has won three straight based on your "system". If there is ever a sport that "streaks" it's baseball. Even the anti-sweep theory in a four game series has been down the past few years compared to what it use to be. I see your idea Tigger in what your trying to do. The tech side of capping is not as important as the X's and O's in my opinion, but it is a "tool" one can look at to get the edge/angle. Good luck with your "system" and yes it is just that as it will apply across the board for ALL teams. Did you bounce it against any Cincy/Houston "trends"????? You might check it out. Good Luck.

      Tigger,

I usually do the oposite. I usually will lean towards betting ON a team with 3 or more wins and against a team with 3 or more losses, until they break that streak.

That is the way I understand it - but I did not read or research it anymore than what was presented. Pittsburgh and NY Mets have lost 3 in a row, but both are dogs so they don't fall into any of the 4 situations

More than 1 season of data would be great to see - maybe a night time project....

        GL if you try it!

I agree! I'd be more inclined to stay on a hot team.

However, blindly following a hot team won't necessarily win $$$$. Knowing which situations to follow and which to pass is the key.

Goodluck with trying this system! Hey whatever you need to feel comfortable to lay your play. I kinda like Clemmens today, and Spark put a post up with some interesting trends to look into.
Whatever you do, start off the system small.
              Best of luck today Tigger!!!
