A man loved his Dad very much, and when the father became too old to be cared for at home, the son was forced to place him in a nursing home.
The son looked everywhere for the very best facility, and finally found one that pleased him, even though it was quite expensive.
After waiting a few days to allow his dad to get settled in his new environment, the son visited him and asked:
" How was everything, Dad?"
Dad replied: "Fine, Fine."
Just then, the father started to lean to his left. Two nursing assistants jumped up right away, and helped him to an upright position in his chair.
The son asked: "How's the food?"
"Just great." Replied Dad.
But then the father started leaning to his right. Again, two nursing assistants immediately jumped up, and helped him to an upright position.
Then the son asked: "Is there anything at all you are not happy about?"
Dad replied: "No, they are wonderful here, but there is one thing."
"What's that?" the son asked.
Dad replied: "If only they'd let you fart."
