  • mma saturday, franklin v shamrock

for those who've never seen mma, check out the tuf finals saturday night, it's on free tv.

rich franklin v. ken shamrock: your pick is rich franklin -210 3***. franklin is in line for a title shot, is younger, better with his hands and has been training ground work submissions with his trainer to avoid shamrock's best weapon, the leglock. shamrock hasn't won over a top level guy in years, but carries a big name and needs a win to try and get tito ortiz in a rematch. he'll be motivated but motivation won't overcome the youth and skill factor here as franklin rolls to a impressive victory and his chance to be champion.

also franklin is from cincinnati, and supporting the hometown boy is important!

franklin beats shamrock after surviving a near disaster to a ankle lock, then ko's ken when he slips and falls down. good win for rich.

the best fight I've seen in a long time was the light heavyweight fight between forrest and bonnar, you won't see action like that too often, they were rewarded with contracts in a classy move, go ufc!
