unreal.One thing i will never understand about some mangers is when your starting picther gives up no runs and only 4 hits .Why do they allways take him out of the game .I can understand if he starts walking guys or gives up a few hits but he took him out in the 7th inn ...Why not let the guy who is making 5 Million try and actually pitch the whole game .

Yea Wayne i am right there with you ..I allready put some money on the parlay you ez and Homer have so we still have that to go ..Please other games in Hoops and Baseball.
But it was an awesome feeling this morning when i work up and thought that the parlay last night was a lose and checked the scores and Guess what to my surpise It was cash and lots of it .Don't really play parlays that much figured i would throw a unit on it and see what happens ..

The thing that irks me the most about baseball today. Too many managers rely strictly on pitch count. A pitcher can be throwing a 1 hitter and they'll pull him due to pitch count.Originally posted by mike650

I've heard that back in the day, pitchers that started the game finished it and that there were no such thing as middle relievers and closers. Pitch counts i agree are the dumbest thing in sports. It happens all the time. A pitcher is cruising through 8 and because his team is up by 3 or less runs the closer comes in. WHY???? It's because the manager feels like he needs to fill the "Box Score" and get a win and a save. The logic makes no sense. A closer should come in when their in trouble, not because it's the 9th and their up 3 or less!
I would love to be a Baseball Manager. I honestly believe i could do just as good as half the guys (or more) out there!
