I'm not going to hold it against Manny, Johnson and Pavano are 2 pretty good pitchers!

ARod did go 2 for 6 on Sunday
      Ramirez went 0 for 4
But I still think they're both Talented. Manny will produce after this first series. There's alot of pressure in the Bosox/NYYank games

Ha-ha....spoken like a true Red Sox fan.

Well, i'm not going to hold it against Hoffman. That rookie from Colorado who I never heard of is really good, too.

My only point is that w're only 2 days into the season and there are still 160 games to be played. Pretty early to be writing guys off.

Although I do think Dmitri Young is going to hit 486 home runs.

I agree that there is a lot of Ball left, but Wells and Smoltz have "Jumped the shark". They are old.
And it seems like small ball is working its way back into baseball. Wells sucks from the stretch and will get run on a bunch. Smoltzie after 3 1/2 years as a closer will wear down as a starter. He's a sprinter trying to run a marathon.

Get rid of Joe Boo and his avatar while you're writing strokes off.

                Wayne,
With all due respect, it's his first start in 3 or 4 years. He probably was over-psyched. If he does this 3 or 4 more times between now and June 1, then maybe you're right.

                Nice game last night, huh!

I know but John Smoltz's specialty was one inning of shut down ball and when he came in and couldn't do it in any of the 1st two it makes you wonder!

Yes, that game was AWESOME last night and the Baylor Lady Bears are making me happy tonight!
