  • Attention new Baseball Bettors

    My advice for newbies and new baseball bettors. Play small. Very small. Until the season kicks in. Don't get caught up in the baseball excitement. It's a long season. Early in the season there's so many mysteries. Most starters will only pitch 5 or 6 innings.

    If any members is following a baseball capper don't jump off that capper if they have a bad day or two. Stick with that capper. If you bounce from capper to capper you will lose. Also, don't cherry pick. Play all the cappers plays or play none.

    =================
    I've seen this scenario too many times:

    Day 1: Capper A had a bad day while Capper B had a great day. You played Capper A

    Day 2: You decide to jump on Capper B because they had a good day. Capper B has on losing day while Capper A bounced back and had a good day.

    You get the picture.
    ==================

    The cappers that I listed in another thread are all very good and consistant. That being said they DON'T win every day. Don't expect to win everyday. BE PATIENT! If you follow them through the hot streaks and cut back on the cold streaks you will win.

    My apologies to any capper I omitted. The cappers I listed are the cappers I remember being the most consistant last season.

        great advice

        Frank,

        Very sound advice. I have fallen victim to hopping around from capper to capper, but if you stay with one of the cappers you mentioned it should be very profitable. I have been tailing folks over here for 3+ years and baseball season has been profitable all three years. Unfortunately, I usually give some of it back in hoops! It is very difficult to stay disciplined and stick with the capper through a rough patch, but if you manage to, you should come out ahead. Thanks for everyone's input as I know I do not say this nearly enough.

            Frank,

            I was going to write almost the exact same thing.

            2 most important things:

            1. Start off SLOW. Every new season is a mystery to all of us. It takes a couple weeks to figure these teams out.
            2. You will NOT win everyday! Being that baseball is EVERYDAY, it is IMPOSSIBLE to win all of them. Just ride through the streaks and at the end of the season we will all be up $$$$..

                  Coverboy/3 Wisemen won't start releasing any plays for another 2 or 3 weeks.

                    They seem to be doing great!!
                    Should these be considered in the plays?

                      The recommended cappers are cappers that did very well last season. Aside from Goldvike they post everyday and most days they post early.

                      How Rip's fades will do in baseball is an unknown. The Fade concept is relatively new. Rip didn't post fades last baseball season. He might have faded bases on his own. He could answer the question better than I

                        For the first two weeks 1 unit is about 1/4 of my normal unit. When 3 Wisemen start posting I'll bump it to 1/2 my normal unit. Around May 1 I'll start playing my normal unit amount..

                            RJ and Frank ....with all these great cappers what do you think about checking all 5 or 6 of them and when 3 or more are on the same game those are the ones to really play....especially for the newer guys other wise you could look at all these cappers and end up betting way to many games

                              blaze,

                              as awesome as a lot of these guys are, it actually scares me when ME, Wayne, Frank, Homer, and EZ are ALL on the same game. This is just an example, but you get my drift. There was a guy who was a professional gambler, he had 5 guys who were AWESOME cappers, and he would send them out to cap their games and come back to him with their top plays. If there was a game where 4 guys were on 1 side and 1 guy on the other side, he would always take the other side with 1 of his guys on it. just some advise.
