Need some help hedging on NCAA bracket !

Hey fellas - hoping I can get some advice on what to do here:

I'm in an NCAA pool and right now I'm the only one to have Louisville as the winner at a nice $550. My question to all of you is what to do now...do I let it ride and hope for the best, or do I make a bet on Illinois moneyline as a backup...??? The problem of course is if Louie wins, I'm faced with hedging again on the next game and then, is this even worth it....???????

I got Loui/N.C. today and N.C. winning on Mon. for $20 buy in on my bracket and the pot being $920, I'm just letting mine ride.
As far as putting money on the game, I'm just waiting for the fades!!

Frank - I had 2 entries shared with my Dad at $20 a pop...$40 total investment and total win would be $1100....I'm using the $550 net as my take if it wins...tough call here.....

I'd take Illinois -85 to win $50. This way if Illinois win you profit $10 over all.

If Louisville win on Monday I'd hedge my bet to cover the $125 ($40 + $85). I'd actually hedge my bet more than today's game probably for a $100 profit. It would depend on the ML for the game.

Without any question I'd hedge if I was in your spot. In both NC games you'll be buying the dogs on the ML. Shit for $25 you'll get Mich St. +52. Covering your investment with a small profit if NC loses. I'd do it in a heart beat.
