    Game of the Day
    Spurs @ Nuggets-- Spurs are 11-5 in last 16 games, won last three in row, despite Duncan being out; they lost at home 90-87 to Nuggets March 12, but won the other two games vs Denver this year, by 14,9 points. Spurs are 1-5 vs spread in last six road games. Denver is 15-2 in last 17 games, with last seven going over.


    Elsewhere, Dallas won three in row, seven of last eight games; they're 5-1 vs spread with Johnson as the coach, with over 3-1-1 in their last five. 76ers won 93-89 in the first meeting, at Dallas. Sixers allowed 117 ppg in losing their last two games, by 9,29 points.

    Toronto lost six of last eight games, with four of last five staying under total; they seem to have dissension- Rose ripped his teammates after Wednesday's loss. Raptors lost 101-94 in first trip to Charlotte this year. Charlotte is 5-2 vs spread in its last seven games.

    Wizards won last three games by 1,8,3 points; four of its last five games stayed under; they're 1-2 vs Orlando this year, winning by 10 Nov 10, then losing pair to Magic in last January. Orlando is 5-11 vs spread last 16 games; they're 3-4 SU since firing ****** Davis.

    Hawks try hard but they stink, 1-23 in last 24 contests, losing ten in row, but they've covered nine of last 13 on road- seven of their last nine games overall went over the total. Celtics lost last four games, are 6-13-1 vs spread in their last twenty games.

    Nets won seven of last nine games; 16 of last 22 games stayed under. Road team won both their games against Knicks, who are back from dismal 0-4 west coast trip where they allowed 109.3 ppg, with all four games over the total.

    Detroit lost four of last six games; they won 109-106 at Clippers Nov 8. Coach Brown returns for this game, for Piston team that is 5-10 vs spread last 15 games. Clips lost last three games by 4,10,17 pts; their last four tilts all stayed under the total.

    Cavaliers lost in Chicago last night, their twelfth loss in its last 18 games; they're 3-3 since firing Silas, and lost by 123-96 at Arco Jan 20. Three of their last four games went over. Kings covered their last five games that came after a loss, and they lost their last game.

    Bucks lost last seven games (1-6 vs spread); they forced just five turnovers in 113-109 loss Wednesday. Grizzlies beat Milwaukee 101-82 Jan 15. Memphis lost three in a row, scoring just 90 ppg- three of their last four games went over the total.

    Rockets won five of last six games, nine of their last ten games stayed under total- they just beat Hornets 81-68 six nights ago on Bourbon Street. Hornets lost nine of its last 12 games, with five of last seven going over the total.

    Improved Warriors won three in row and six of seven; their last four games all went over total- they covered 5 of last six games. Utah lost 12 of last 14 games, are 4-8 vs spread in last dozen. Jazz won first meeting 102-80, in second game of year, long, long time ago.

    Minnesota got fifth straight win last night, as they chase Denver, Grizzlies for last playoff slot; seven of their last nine games stayed under total. Suns won three in a row, six of last seven, even with Amare out- four of their last five games went over the total.

    Portland is 2-13 under Pritchard, 4-17 vs spread in last 21 games, 2-7 in last nine on road. Sonics just beat the Blazers 96-91 eight days ago in Portland; Blazers lost by 99-89 in first trip to Seattle this year. Sonics are 1-4 vs spread in their last five games.
