NIT PARLAY/YEAR TONIGHT (first postseason parlay)!!
This is OC Dooley; I warmed up for this weekend’s Final 4 by nailing both NIT semifinal sides on Tuesday, including my second biggest PERSONAL postseason investment as Saint Joseph’s (+3) beat Memphis in convincing fashion, even though the Tigers had won their initial 3 NIT tournament games by a whopping average of 20 points per contest! If you took the time to read the analysis of my “2005 NIT Game/Year”, you would have found out that a major INJURY was the reason why the underdog Hawks covered by double digits in what turned out to be a 70-58 no-brainer. According to Memphis coach John Calipari, the main reason why his Tigers were still playing was due to the stellar play of guard Jeremy Hunt who had been playing some of the best basketball of his career before suffering a season-ending knee injury in the quarterfinal round. In the analysis on South Carolina’s upset of Maryland as a 4 point underdog, I pointed out that Gamecocks coach Dave Odom was familiar with the ACC Conference after coaching at Wake Forest from the year’s 1989 to 2001. I also pointed out that Maryland had trailed in every one of their previous 3 NIT encounters including a pair by 13 and 16 point counts at halftime.
My current NBA run is up to 6-1-1 since Sunday following my second straight BEST BET no brainer as Dallas (-1) cruised to a 112-100 triumph at Boston last night. My other two premium moves were on Charlotte (+3) who “pushed” and the Sixers/Suns OVER the total which missed due to Chris Webber’s early injury. I am 3-0 for the week on my FREE pick service which cashed easily with the Spurs. Yes, you can see the fruits of my exhaustive research and analysis in the NBA this evening for free. My entire premium report focus will be on both the side+total of the NIT Championship game.
