WOW. I checked the line history The line at most books were 3.5 most of the day. At some books it move quickly to 5 then back to 4. Very weird. I've never seen a line bounce around that much

The Nets were 3.5 all day and then I think a vegas group hit new jersey at like 6:45 and pushed it to 5, it then quickly adjusted back down to around 4 approximately 10-15 minutes later by gametime. I cashed since I bet it early at -3 but it had to suck if you bet it late. Life is timing lol and I guess you can just only hope not to be on the shit end of it on most occasions!

More times than not you will lose if you chase that big late exaggerated move.

That's why it's so important to use multiple books or books that have fair lines. Books like Bodog and Betcom often inflate the favorites by 1/2 and sometimes a full point. I have an account for Betcom for that reason. I often bet dogs with Betcom and favorites with Pinnancle.

I tried for a middle a few nights ago. I forgot which game it was. I played the favorite early. By game time their was a 2 point swing. I bought back 1 unit on the dog.

                          Why This Line Moved

The reason this moved so fast was because C-Okafor went from questionable to doubtful (this moved the line to 5) and then went to probable (line back to 3.5). Here are the line moves at sportsbook.com. The line went from 5 back to 3.5 in just 4 minutes.
