I know you like bases, have you seen the MLB "Team Ball" pool or the Fantasy League we have with BigMike, Spark, BC, and a few others? I was just curious because we have a pretty good time with it and it really puts an added interest in rooting for teams on a given night that you might have no financial interest in. I don't see you get in many of the pools or league's we do but i do see you in the NBA contest. Not much to "Cap" tonight so i thought i would throw you a line!

When I was a little boy my dad used to always tell me "it's better to be lucky than good". To this day I often use the quote.

I've stated this many times. The 2 "lucky winners" is the reason I don't watch the games I bet. Why get all worked up over something I have no control over? The next day in the box score a wins a win.

i was actually at the grocery store, and when i got home i checked the computer right as NJ won by the hook, then put away the groceries and saw Atl. was down 17, checked at the end and saw they lost by 7. . That is a great point.....unfortunately that is a tough one for me to get past since I frequently want to know how I'm doing "right now"....I guess it is just another reason why it takes a lot of DISCIPLINE to beat the books....
