Thanks Frank-do you think this will be one of your picks tonight, or is it too early to know?

Savage, I'd rather not talk about my selections in another members thread. Especially, a GOY thread. I'll be posting my selections within the hour.

I think Cleveland LOOKS good at face value. It's one of those games that jump out at you and you think "no way this line is right." That is always scary because it seems those are the ones that bite you.

To Frank's point about them being 7-2 road fav ATS - while that is true they haven't been a road favorite since January for a reason. They have just played terribly lately.

Also, NO is 38-30 ATS this season, not bad for a shit team. Granted they are only 15-18 ATS at home, but they have been mostly competitive against the line.

To add some ridiculous stats to the debate, teams playing second game on the road where both they and their opponent have had 2 days rest are 72-84 this year. Teams coming home from a road game where both they and their opponent have had 2 days rest are 75-65 this year. Both of these point toward NO.

For the last ridiculous stat, but on the plus side for Clev, teams that have lost by 30-32 pts in the prior game are 10-3 ATS in the next game. That isn't worth too much with the small sample size but couldn't resist throwing it in...

Cleveland should be the play here though. Good luck Dan!

Very good logic to back the pick up with. Good luck.

I was wrong and Savage was correct. Cleveland has lost 11 straight road games. They haven't covered in 9 straight road games.

I guess it's a case of what came first the chicken or the egg? When they started their road losing streak Vegas didn't know they would go on a road losing streak. The road games they were favored has been against the leagues worst teams. Atlanta, Charlotte, Utah, Portland, and Golden State. Their two losses as a road favorite were vs. Chicago and NJ.
