Can someone explain??

The only sport I've never played competively is basketball. Why was a foul called on Mich St? Both players are going for the ball. What gives one player more of a right than the other?

I didn't bet the game so its not sour grapes. I haven't bet any CBB games this weekend. I don't get some of the calls in basketball. Watching these games this weekend I see so many phantom calls. It's as if the ref is anticipating a foul.

I agree because the both are going for the ball and just because one player fell down should not consitute a foul.

I think the ref felt like he had to call something...

The offensive team---ktcky--is what they call in possession of the ball...the path of the pass was directly towards the ktcky player--mich st player cuts across--they collide--thus foul on defensive team...Mich St...StuMan for Kmann
