Put a nail in the Lakers' coffin, they are done.

Los Angeles is toting a 7-game losing streak into this one at the Staples Center, and I don't see the Lakes stopping the bleeding today against a Philadelphia team that is starting to come on strong.

The Sixers have won their last pair and 4 of their last 5 straight up. C-Webb seems to be getting a little more comfortable with the Philly system, and of course the Lakers have no answer for The Answer.

Philadelphia is looking for the season sweep. In fact, the 76ers are a fine 4-2 straight up the last 6 times they have faced LA.

With the Lakers' season pretty much dead in the water, I will look for the Sixers to keep their postseason aspirations alive and kicking with a huge win in the City of Angels today.
