a player out (even Murphy) usually has little outcome on NBA games.......I like it because Avery Johnson is trying to instill DEFENSE into Dallas and they are NOT responding well to offensively AND they are on the road. Anyone who blames someone for a loss after making a comment is a friggin idiot! No one on this forum has ANY friggin influence on a game being played somewhere on a basketball court, football field, etc! And anyone who gets pissed off after losing a game, because they think a post "spoke too soon", again is a friggin moron and really needs to find something else to do except gamble!...primarily because obviously they're too stupid to be gambling!

I agree 100% that nothing said or done by me has any effect on the game. That being said. When it comes to gambling. I'm superstitious about certain things. One of the things I'm most superstitious about is celebrating before the game is over. The other night another member had a play on a NBA game. There was less than 30 seconds remaining in the game. His play had the spread covered by 20+ points. I did not and would not post congrats until the game went final.

i am superstitious as hell. i can't even tell you how many times I have accidently wrote a W next to my bet and it loses. i know that is not the reason but when it keeps happening it makes you think!

Many moons ago when Jake "The Snake" played at Arizona State and he scored what should've been the Game Winning TD in that Rose Bowl against Ohio State, me and my boys celebrated a bit too soon...I knew there was still a minute left but that would've capped off a 4-team paraly that day and made me $500, which at the time would've been HUGE!!!...

Of course you remember what happened, the bogus pass intereference call and then the David Boston Show...What a shame!!...Would've been a great game if I hadn't lost money on it...All my guys knew I would've made $$$$ if ASU had held on and they were all rooting for me...A huge Bummer to say the least... ....Whats even sadder is that I went 5-0 this year on Jan. 1 and didn't parlay a thing!!! :angryfire

that was all in fun. i don't think i'm closer with anyone on here than 10Dime, Chuck, and Frank. We bust each other's balls all day everyday. It's ok man. Thanks for sticking up, but we're all good friends.
