We all know that the favorites do not win every game. For the last few weeks of the baseball season i kept track of the underdogs. If you would have bet on every underdog for the last few weeks you would have made money. Just wondering if people think this would work throughout the season? By betting the dogs you avoid the juice and you can make more than what you bet...its just a thought and was wondering what people think.

ALWAYS looks great in theory at the start of every season.
Unfortunately it is almost impossible to do.
MY 2 CENTS WORTH ONLY WHICH MEANS LITTLE TO NADA!
A few things over the years I have noted checking this out.
1) A person is RARELY around EVERY SINGLE MORNING, NOON NIGHT AND HOLIDAYS etc to play ALL GAMES.
2) MANY games are +with one book and - with another and rarely even but this alone skews the data big time.
3) WHEN you PLAY THE DOG makes the diff. EXAMPLE: A game opens with Minnesota playing the Red Sox at Boston. Santana vs Shilling and Minnesota is +115. You play them for action. Santana tweaks an elbow in warm ups so an emergency mid reliever becomes the starter. Line rockets to Red Sox -150 and Twins go down and so does the (+ play)!
4) Margin for error is not as big as it looks. Being SELECTIVE on dogs is much better!
5) I have several MLB systems I use for the year and never do I play just dogs.
I did dig up some old stats from last year still on this site from my posted record but could not find my year end final which was higher than this as it is through the SEPT 1ST BASEBALL SEASON LAST YEAR plus a little hoops which is another free money maker!MLB RECORD TO DATE! I believe we ended up well around the +$20,000 mark but maybe someone else could find it to correct me. Either way we hurt the book pretty bad. DEFINITELY WITH FAVORITES MIXED INTO THE PLAYS AND SOMEDAYS ONLY FAVORITE....JUST NOT HIGH JUICE PICKS!
NOTE THE LOWER STARRED PLAYS ARE AT OR ABOVE .500 but not by much...so they won money but not as much because favorites were mixed in and not necessarily a majority of dogs.
No PARLAYS ARE INCLUDED IN MY RECORDS either as they are usually solid beer money $$$$ that we use for supplemental $$ normally grand slam 4 bangers.
I HAD FOR EXAMPLE ONE PLAY TONIGHT ON THE REDS +110...I play one preseason game a night and so far way ahead of the game as well. NEVER TAKE A FAVORITE IN PRESEASON!!
OK......ENOUGH OF MY SPEWING ABOUT IT....JUST FOLLOW THE CAPPERS ON THIS SITE AS THERe ARE AT LEAST 2 TO 3 PAGES FULL OF PICKS FREE TO CHOOSE FROM!!!! Do NOT buy picks!
BASEBALL IS A VERY PROFITABLE TIME OF THE YEAR THE BOOKS HAVE A TERRIBLE TIME WITH UNLESS YOU ARE STRICTLY A FAVORITE BETTOR! THEN YOU ARE THEIR BEST FRIEND!
I will also kick back and follow the board this year as well to see what the trends of players are. That will also help your decide on whether to get on or off a dog!

Vike great post. I agree. In theory playing all dogs sounds great but not very practical. JBC, concentrate on dogs and pick your spots.
