  • Early Baseball Props...

    Early Props look very good to me:

    If either player starts season on DL. No Action

    409 Barry Bonds (SF) -2 home runs -140
    410 Sammy Sosa (BAL) +2 home runs +110

    * Note:
    Id have to take sammy if bonds even plays that much I still think sammy will smack more than him.

    Carlos Beltran vs Aubrey Huff
    If either player starts season on DL. No Action

    407 Carlos Beltran (NYM) -1 home runs -115
    408 Aubrey Huff (TB) +1 home runs -115

    * Note:
    Im going with carlos on this one. I see aubrey hitting 30-35 but Carlos hitting 40 or so.

    2005 Reg Sea Player vs Player Pitchers Most Wins
    Pedro Martinez vs Randy Johnson most wins
    If either player starts season on DL. No Action

    501 Pedro Martinez (NYM) +2 wins +140
    502 Randy Johnson (NYY) -2 wins -170

    * Note:
    Pedro easy, randy is having a very rough time in the openers I just think hes worn out he should get 10-15 wins but pedro wont be far behind him if not ahead.

    2005 Reg Sea Player vs Player Pitchers Most Wins
    Josh Beckett vs Matt Clement most wins
    Combined stats will count in case of trades.

    503 Josh Beckett (Fla) -0.5 wins -115
    504 Matt Clement (Bost) +0.5 wins -115

    * Note:
    Josh Beckett, no explantion

    Roy Oswalt vs Johan Santana most wins
    Combined stats will count in case of trades.

    547 Roy Oswalt (Hous) +1 wins -120
    548 Johan Santana (Minn) -1 wins -110

    * Note:
    Santana is the better bet here, oswalt might not even stay healthy again.

    Combined stats will count in case of trades.

    561 Al Leiter (Fla) -0.5 wins -115
    562 Kris Benson (NYM) +0.5 wins -115

    * Note:
    Benson here, leiter might not even pitch the whole year he was said to sign because he wanted to announce with tommy hutton.

    Theres my bets on prop I also have one going for the field +280 to win the AL East over the yankees who were -300

    I like the plays. I think Bonds will start the season on the DL, though, which means no action.

      Adding

      Tampa Bay Devil Rays most regular season wins
      Team must play 160 reg season games for action

      653 Over 70 reg seas wins -115
      654 Under 70 reg seas wins -115

      * Note:

      The rays have a solid team this year I see them hitting the 80-85 win mark. Solid pitching from Kazmir and batting from Huff,Crawford, Upton

      Toronto Blue Jays most regular season wins
      Team must play 160 reg season games for action

      657 Over 70.5 reg seas wins -115
      658 Under 70.5 reg seas wins -115

      * Note:
      This might be the easiest win prediction. This team has nothing, theyre plain horrible I see them winning 40-50 at most.

        Dan, like the picks except two...Beltran hitting 40 home runs in Shea would be a MONSTER year. I had just over 40 last year playing in a band box for half of it.

        Leiter will have more wins than Benson. He didn't sign a $7 million contract to announce...he signed it to play. Everyone knows he wants to announce when done playing, and he did a GREAT job in the playoffs last year on FOX. But he will pitch and he is one of the most durable starters in baseball. Benson is a career .500 pitcher, granted on crap teams, but Fla is better than the Mets...

        btw, I am a huge Mets fan

          oh, and RJ gets more wins than Pedro...pitches deeper into games and is on a better team. Pedro will win his share but he is done after 7. Plus, the DH plays to RJ's favor.
