Regarding buying points. It costs me 10 for ever 1/2 point.
People here will tell you never to do it. That's fine. This is
what works for me. I can tell you what, that 1/2 to 1 1/2
points has made a hell of a difference the last three months
in college hoops. Prime example being Old Dominion Friday
night. If you bet early, you got Old Dominion at 8 1/2 to 9.
If you bet late, you got 7 1/2. They lost by 8. There has
been so many games the last three months like this that
it would make your head spin. I never tell anybody how to
bet. I just post how I played it.

I understand the reason for buying points, I'm interested in how whether you still risk the 110 and get less in return or do you actually lay the 120. Just trying to determine if the risk and reward are worth it.

    Thanks again

      UCONN -3 -110
bought down to 2( ten for ever 1/2)
      now my juice is -130

      I bet this at betjamaica.com

I bet Old Dominion at +9 Friday for 10 dimes. I posted
it here as my Tournament GOY. If I bet it late and bought
no points I would have had - 7 1/2. Instead I bet it early
at - 8 1/2 and bought it up 1/2 point. Like I said, you do
what's right for you. People can give me all the figures they
want why not to buy points. I'll take winning 10,000 verses
      losing 11,000 anyday.
