  • Heat Hot at Home---Saturday's best

    YTD: 51-53 -3.3 units (2-3 Fri)
    3* 1-0
    2* 4-2
    1* 46-51
    NBA: 48-49
    College: 3-4

    2* Heat -11
I love this play. Miami is just torrid at home right now, winning 14 in a row at home SU. They've won eleven in a row SU home or away. Most wins have been big margins. Knicks took their best shot Wednesday night at home vs. Heat and lost at buzzer. They know they can't beat this team. Knicks only 7-22 SU on road. I'm posting this play early Sat morning but I expect the line to move up at least a point and a half.

    1* Mavericks -14
Another big favorite. Charlotte had to play at San Antonio last night and may be run into the ground by the Mavs. This is Bobcats third road game in four nights (Denver, San Ant and now Dallas). They're whipped.

    1* Pacific +7
Washington will not cover a game in the tournament and might not get to play a third game. Pacific's a solid team and potential upsetter.

I apologize for this, but I'm dropping the play on Pacific. I'm probably over-thinking but I no longer feel strongly about it. I'll consider it an "opinion only." Still love the Heat.

Thanks for the plays Gris, always enjoy your insight!!! Looking forward to bases this year! I still remember you playing the Devil Rays for most of that 13 game or whatever it was win streak!

        Mike,

It was 13. The Nuggets right now are the closest thing I've found to last year's D-Ray run. Denver's won nine of ten ATS (with a push) and won easily last night. They might beat Milwaukee by 25 tomorrow.
