Gonna stay in the NIT where the games have been easier to cap and so far more profitabe for me.
Buffalo +6.5 I know St. Joe's plays good D, but are you kiddin' me, layin' that many to an explosive team. I'll take the points.
W. Kentucky +7.5 They haven't played that well on the road this year, but I can't see them being flat or uninterested in an NIT tournament game. Too many points, I'll take'em.
Fellas, my Hokies play at noon at Memphis to open the slate on Saturday. This may be a big play. I will be calling a friend of mine who works in the athletic dept. at VT to find out what crew is working the game. As I've stated before, VT has absolutely NO depth. They have one player on their bench who is worthy of a scholarship for ACC basketball and he left the team last week for "personal reasons". Word of Blacksburg is he needs to get his shit in the same sock in the classroom. The rest of the bench: Two walkons, a TE from the football team and a few guys who should be playing or on the bench in the CAA conforerence. Their starters are good, but lack a dominant big man and are atrocious at the foul line. If the starters stay out of foul trouble, log 36 minutes apiece, the 8.5 points is money. If the officials call a close game and I don't expect them to get much love in Memphis, Memphis' big guys w/ a definite advantage in size down low will get the Hokies front court players in foul trouble. If one starter for VT gets in foul trouble, they're pissin' in a fan. If two or more do, they'll be done like Grandmas apple pie on Sunday mornin'. Memphis will beat them like a red head step-child that stole something. If I can acquire this info. tomorrow mornin', I will post it for ya.
As for Memphis fans, VT is a football school!!!! Bring your boyz to Lane Stadium and the Hokies will stomp a mud hole in their ass and walk it off! GL to all tomorrow."33"

4 What it's worth
In this morning;s local paper (Decatur IL) an article stated that Coach Weber of Illinois was unhappy and stated "we dribbled the ball too much" At Friday's practice he didn't allow any dribbling in bringing the ball up the court. That with the good Illini defense and with Nevada being the worst team in 3 pointers in the tournament draw your own conclusions. Hope this helps someone.
