My favorite pick of the first round. Here's why I see a rout. Lou-Laf's running style is a disaster vs. Louisville which also loves to push the ball up the court. The pace will be to Louisville's advantage. Louisville's average win this year was by 18, second highest in NCAA, and most of their opponents were better than Lou-Laf. Game is in Nashville, just down the freeway, and a big Louisville crowd will be on hand.
1* Nets -6 1/2
Line way too low for a Jazz team that's crumbling on the road against a suddenly warm Nets team. Utah has lost seven in a row, is in the fourth game of a road trip and is 7-26 SU on the road. Jazz, on the other hand, coming off back to back 16 point wins.
1* Rockets -5 1/2
Houston's playing better than anybody in the league right now. Rockets have won six in a row, several against top teams. While Boston has won five in a row, they look like they're tiring as they almost blew a huge lead at home Wednesday to Toronto. Now they go on the road versus a team on a roll.
1* Sonics -9
Magic have lost six in a row, just fired their coach and another assistant, and have to go to Seattle. Sonics in a bit of a slump but hard not to take a strong west team against a shaky east team.
