  • The question of PARITY in the NBA

PARITY this year in the NBA?
Is there a certain amount of parity in the NBA this year? The answer is a unanimous "yes". Three favorites, PHOENIX, NEW ORLEANS and TORONTO went down as straight up losers. And SACRAMENTO, ORLANDO, DETROIT andNEW YORK were unable to cover the spreads, depending upon what line you played. The playoffs should exhibit that same equality, and it is great for pro hoops.
WASHINGTON covered nicely for me in a dog fight with NEW YORK, and the total did go over rather easily with all the fouls committed in the fourth quarter.
Now on the BOSTON pick, what can I say? Not only was their 3 point game off, but their entire game stunk. I went against a team that had beaten the other team 16 of the last 17 meetings. Goes to show you what can happen when you bet with your heart and not your head. I must have had my head up my ass to go out on such a limb. I'll see my psychiatrist this morning!!
