Today's Comp from Joe Gavazzi
Cal State Fullerton (+9) over OREGON STATE by 1
This is a big deal for the Titans who are 19-10 this year after being a perennial 20 game per year loser. The addition of Holmes and Brown in late December were a key to their increased offensive output. It took them 3 games in mid-January to adjust to the loss of Aspirilla. Following that, they finished the year 11-3 SU ATS. Now they get a chance to take on a PAC 10 team who underachieved expectations with just an 8-10 SU record in conference play. The 59-90 season ending loss to Arizona leaves them with little confidence. In John's 3 years, they are just 2-9 ATS home following a SU ATS loss. Don't be surprised if the Titans win outright.OBE

More comps and commentary(for those who want to read it):
Northcoast Comp Line-4* from Billy Coleman on Boston University.
Northcoast Basketball Comp. Line-4* from "Will"y Cover on Rectal(Oral) Roberts.
Feiner- Chicago Bulls
He says he has another Game of Career going today-wouldn't you know it after his "first and only one" lost a few days ago on Villanova;he should call it the Game of his Career for 3/16/05(meaning there will never be another 3/16/05, thus allowing him to give out another one on another date.
Jack Price/Corey Black-nothing yet, except Jack says that Corey over his 19 year career has hit at a "78%" clip;Rip-lookout I hear footsteps. lolLast edited by savage1; 03-16-2005, 02:30 PM.

IVS Premium Pick
The talent of this years St. Josephs team is only a fraction of last
years which made thier run through the NCAA. This years Hawks team 19-11 won
the depleated A-10 east, but ended up losing the A-10 tourny to the hands
of the ever tough Colonials. Tonight they take on the Pride from Hofstra
University. The Pride out of the Colonial on a roll winning 11 out of
the last 15. Throughout the course of the year Hofstra beat the Red Storm
of St.Johns and kept a barn burner in the Carrierdome against the Orange
losing by a mear 5. St. Joe's marquee wins against a tough GW team on the
first and a win over the Musketeers of Xavier (another team who had a lackluster
year). This should be a good game, but expect the guys from the
Colonial to keep it close.
Our Pick: Hofstra +7.5
