My approach is picking the two best and worst teams in each league and play on against them no matter what. The only exception is letting a team ride their streak out. For example, if you pick St. Louis as one of you teams to bet on, and they lose a game, then get off of them until they win again. Your great teams will always have a huge winning streak and your bad teams will always have a long losing streak!!

This is just what I do and it has been successful for me!

I only play dogs or very small favorites in baseball. If you lose one game with a -200 favorite, you need to win the next two games with favorites just to be even. Two out of three to break even doesn't work for me.

I like to play hot teams, especially those with overall bad records. The lines never seem to catch up with the hot streak. The best bets are often the ones in which you go against overrated pitchers on mediocre teams. Randy Johnson last year was a great example. He was an absolute money-burner the second half of the season. He was constantly made a big favorite despite the fact that his team, Arizona, was one of the worst in the history of baseball. Arizona lost more than half of Johnson's starts but Johnson was consistently put up at insanne numbers like -180.

Gris, I believe it was you last season who rode Tampa on their hot streak. If it was you, you did very well.

              Frank,

It was me. Unfortunatley, I haven't found much of anything to run on since. (Denver in the NBA right now reminds a little of Tampa last year in baseball but nowehre near as extreme or profitable.)
