He was just on ESPN Radio and it sounded like he/Maryland would rather cut their fingers off than play in the NIT. He flat out said his kids were talking about Spring Break next week and there was big time disappointment that they were in the NIT and not the NCAA's. I do not know much about Oral Roberts but I will be on them for sure.

Be careful! It might be a motivating tactic being used by Williams. Parcells often says shit like that to incite his players.

Yea, but remember, this is the NIT (Not Invited T-Ment)....If you can pick the teams that really do not care about being in the NIT, you can make a lot of dough in the first round. I understand MD has way more talant than O.R., however, I can see them wanting nothing to do with it. If they win the first game, then it's a different story. But the first game is when you can really make your money

ORU is one hell of a salty team...had their conference sewed up--played on bad (last) game against Oakland U--got upset--thus no NCAA bid...have a kid named Kaleb Green--watch him...he's awesome...Played in Tulsa (Memorial Hi), was heavily recruited--wanted to go to TU--ex Coach Philips said he wasn't good enough--wanted to stay in Tulsa---Thus ORU---PS he leads the team and conference in plenty of categories...

Now you know one of the reasons Philips is not coaching Tulsa U....Bad recruiter...kapt---a local Tulsa Native..
