Duke wins the toughest conference tourney in basketball, splits the season series with the most talented team in the country (UNC). They also beat OU & Michigan State in non-conference (not to mention all of their conference wins)........ they deserve a #1! Washington might be another story.

Those 2 losses to maryland were the kicker, but they definently deserve the #1 spot imo, but man there are some really interesting matchups this year

The Washington seeding shows that the Committee had everything determined before the 2 and 2:30 games today. Thats why Ok St. got screwed just like Wisconsin did last year - they won the Big 10 reg season title AND the Big 10 tourny in the later Selection Sunday game and got stuck with a #6 seed.

I think OSU's home loss to a depleted Texas team sealed their fate as a non-#1. If they had faced Kansas or OU to win the Big 12 title game things may have been different.

yes i wouldnt be surpriesd if duke won it all. Theyre a little short on the bench but they shouldve beat north carolina twice this year.

Duke deserves it, and if there were some politics involved because of their great coach and wonderful history, so what?
Considering their tough schedule, it wouldn't be the greatest shock in the world to see them get at least to the final 4.

well put savage, when Duke does get beat, no matter by how many points it will be an upset!! Losing Dockery is a bummer, but if Redick is hitting and big clumsy (sheldon williams) stays outta foul trouble they are a good college team
